Custom Colors
Pattern: Meadow (Custom)
~We offer custom colors on many of our patterns. Send us a photograph, fabric sample, pottery, or other color reference and we will develop a color combination to coordinate with your requirements. A printed color representation will be submitted for your approval. Because colors can vary between computer screens and printed samples, actual wool samples are available on request. Preparation and mailing charges for wool samples will be quoted separately.
~The set-up charge for custom colors on a standard pattern is $35.00. Custom colors are not available through the online store; please call or email us to initiate the process. A 50% deposit is required after final colors are approved. Custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned once approved.
~Allow a minimum of 2 weeks for delivery. We can select from an extensive range of tapestry wool colors but if we do not have a particular color in stock and it is available from our supplier, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery.
Custom Upholstery & Rugs
Pattern: Sampler (Custom)
~Custom upholstery and rug orders may be adapted from many of our existing patterns. Please send us your size requirements and, when appropriate, a paper or muslin pattern so we can determine the required size and wool quantities. Custom colors can be developed to coordinate with your furnishings.
~Custom upholstery is priced at 35¢ per square inch. Design and set-up charges vary according to the complexity of the pattern, size and adaptation required and will be quoted before work begins. Actual wool samples are available on request; preparation and mailing charges will be quoted separately.
~A 50% deposit is required after the design, size and colors have been approved. Custom orders cannot be cancelled or returned once approved. The balance is due before shipment. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for custom upholstery or rug orders; delivery time may vary according to the requirements of the project and availability of wool.
~While we show only a few examples, many of our designs can be adapted for upholstery or rugs. Please inquire about any particular pattern.
Custom Designs
~Have an idea of your own? A drawing, monogram, family crest, textile motif, or other design can often become the starting point for a custom cross-point™ pattern. Past projects have ranged from small sections of a designs supplied on graph paper resulting in an 8-foot long custom rug. Please contact us with your ideas, desired size and intended use so we can determine possibilities and quote the design and set-up cost.
Finishing Service
~We offer professional finishing of our own cross-point™ kits in the USA only. Our standard finishing price includes backing, zipper and self-welt trim. We offer 20 colors of velvet and 2 colors of linen.
~Customer-supplied fabric and trim may be considered, subject to approval by our seamstress for suitability. Special fabrics, unusual trims or more complicated finishing may require an additional charge, which will be quoted before work begins. Please allow 4–6 weeks for finishing.

~To determine the cost for your pillow kit, measure across the bottom or top edge and one of the side edges and multiply the width times the height of the stitched size to result in total square inches (w x ht = square inches). Please add $16.50 for shipping to the price shown below.
