Inspired by a Kurdish carpet pattern,the ancient eight-pointed star symbol also occurs intraditional carpets from North Africa, across the plains and mountains of central Asia, and on into the Americas.

Patterns are classified as "X" (experienced) when they require more attention to counting, or "E" (easy) for beginners. The majority of our patterns can be stitched by anyone with a little bit of practice
